Helenus Coat

Samuel Snider unisex coat that takes its cues from a vintage French workwear garment found in Paris, with a wide, generous body and an easy sleeve. First developed in 2019 and refined over several years, it is cut in an elegant Irish wool basketweave that gives the silhouette pronounced texture and presence.

Woven by Magee in Donegal, Ireland, the pure wool has a dry, tactile character that suits the generous proportions of the coat, while its weight makes it well-suited to cool, windy weather. Lined in American cotton and finished with interior welt pockets and Italian horn buttons, it is gracefully substantial without feeling overly formal. A piece to wear repeatedly and treasure for years.
