Box wood and carbon steel kitchen knife.
Pallarès Solsona
Handmade, sharpened and stamped in Spain / 6.5" (16cm) Blade & 11" Overall length / Box wood handle / Carbon steel blade
Carbon steel is harder than stainless steel and will hold its edge longer before needing to be sharpened but it also requires some attention. The knife should always be kept dry, as carbon steel will rust when it remains wet. Also, carbon steel will naturally develop a lovely patina over time. Run a towel over the knife between uses and be sure to store in a dry place.
