To My Ships is a London-based personal care brand founded by Daniel Bense — formerly Head of Commercial at Aesop — built around a simple but radical question: could deodorant, one of the most overlooked corners of personal care, be treated with poetry and technical intelligence? Inspired by the drama, romance, and aesthetics of Homer's The Iliad, Bense created a brand of deodorants, body washes, and fragrances rooted in the beauty and calm of the classical world. The inaugural collection, Of the Gods, is formulated from naturally derived, vegan botanical ingredients responsibly sourced in France — blending notes of green citrus, petitgrain, patchouli, and polygonum, a plant native to Southeast Asia prized for its aromatic and antibacterial properties. Packaging was designed in collaboration with FormaFantasma, crafted from post-consumer recycled and recyclable aluminium, with every product offered in a refillable format. To My Ships urges a lighter, more restrained approach to personal care — one where each product feels less like a purchase and more like a small ritual. Elevated, conscious, and quietly poetic.
