Antipast

Antipast is a Japanese hosiery brand founded in 1991 by textile designers Junko Jinushi and Kyoko Kato. Named after Italian "antipasto"—the appetizer that comes before the main course—the brand views accessories as the prelude to an outfit. Creating narrative pieces that tell stories through whimsical patterns and intricate designs, Antipast uses unique fabrics like silk, linen lamé, and organic cotton to combine Japanese sensibility with European elegance, transforming everyday accessories into wearable textile art.
